14-10-18 Catsa is a 4 year old exbreeding girl. She is a happy, friendly, energetic little dog. although slighlty nervous at being touched and picked up, she will soon overcome this with time and patience. Cats seems happisest in the company of her kennel mates and will need a kind dog to be her friend and show her new skills such as housetrainin in her new home. With love and patience we think she will relax and become a cheeky little lady!

30-10-18 UPDATE

Catsa a 4 year old exbreeding girl has now been here 2 weeks. She is happy, friendly, energetic but still a little nervous of strangers. Her tail wags as soon as you put her down or given her some attention but during the attention she freezes. She just needs a little more time with people to learn she is safe. As she is slighlty nervous at being touched and picked up, she will need another dog in her forever home and will need some patience to help build her confidence as well as house training and training to walk on a lead/harness as she still learning these.
If you do have a little time and patience to help her overcome her nerves, please pop down and meet this lovely little lady!

22-11-18 UPDATE

I arrived on Sunday here in foster and I wasn’t to sure about living in a house at first....I walked into the glass doors a few times but I’m learning fast.
I love cuddles with foster mum! I’m glued to her whereever she goes I’m right by her side. The only thing is I don’t do stairs yet so I am carried up to bed, I’ve managed to sleep on the bed with Foster Mum and Dad and grumpy Rosie my foster sister I sleep well all night and I don’t fidget.
I have also started walking on a lead and best of all the 3 of us go out together.... Marinara who is also looking for a forever home and Rosie my foster sister.
I walk very well and I don’t pull. I’ve meet the grandchildren age 8 and 11 and I enjoy a stroke and cuddle. I’m looking for my forever family with someone who is home most of the time and lots and lots of cuddles. Love Catsa xx

We have left Catsa a few time and she settles well with the other dogs and hasn’t done any damage they have full run of downstairs. She has had a few accidents in the house but if I see her circling I take her out side quickly. She has only been with us for 3 days and is doing very well.

MT Catsa Hi my Foster Mum calls me Kitty. I’m settling in well in my foster home. I still enjoy my walks and FM has started to drop my lead in a safe place but I still stay by her side but perhaps I will have a little run with MT Marinara and my foster sister Rosie one day soon.
I enjoy my food and gobble it down quickly then search to see if end of the other dogs have left some for me. I now sleep in the crate (in the bedroom) with Marinara and we are quiet all night and we are clean and dry.
During the day I’m not to bad but I have the odd accident if FM doesn’t notice me circling that usually means I need a wee. I still am happy to meet visitors and enjoy a fuss I also like children the grandchildren are 8 and 11. I still haven’t managed to go up and down stairs yet FM puts me down 3 stairs from the top and I manage them.
I haven’t played with toys yet! I went out with Marinara yesterday in the car to see Jo the dog groomer I was good in the car,and I even let Jo cut my nails. I must go now it’s tea time bye for now love Kitty xx

13-12-18 UPDATE

Hi it’s me again Kitty I have been here 3 weeks now I love my grub and get excited when it’s walkie times. I also get on well with my foster sisters,we had visitors last weekend and I has lots of cuddles. They came with 2 more dogs so there was 6 of us and we all played together. I can now go up and down the stairs and have started to play with toys,I even had a tug with a toy with my foster sisters.By for now Kitty MT Catsa.

Catsa is a delightful little dog we leave her with the other 3 dogs when we go shopping she has the free run downstairs. Sleeps with my other foster dog in a crate at night.she enjoys meeting new people and gets on well with my grandchildren age 8 and 11. She enjoys her walks and doesn’t pull on a lead. Toilet training is coming on but does use puppy pads if I don’t notice she needs to go out.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

The adoption fee for an adult dog (6 months and over) is £220 and for a puppy is £250, However if the dog has a passport you will be given this when you adopt and we ask for a further £20 to help us buy a passport for another dog. You will find a break down of what the adoption fee covers under our Adoption Procedures (see link below) If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
