If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

18-9-18 Kitch is a 6 year old female exbreeding Cocker Spaniel, who is now looking for her forever home. She is a ver nervous girl who will run away from us and really does not want us to be with her at the moment. She has not seenanything of the big wide world before so is going to need a very gentle introduction to her new life. She will need a quiet home without children where there is another dog to guide her. She has always been with other dogs and her world would truly implode without one. If she has a kind resident dog to guide her she will adjust far more quickly and learn new skills such as housetraining. She will need people experenced with dogs to be there for her and give her the new life of love and kindness she can't even imagine yet

26-10-18 UPDATE

Kitch is one of a number of cockers who when they arrived, were very frightened. I am pleased to say, she is making great progress! She is always happy to see us, will greet us with a waggy tail and will approach us to say hello and give our hands a little kiss!
She is such a lovely, gentle girl, who is being so brave! She is definitely starting to realise that not all humans are bad and we make nice friends! Just recently I started her harness and lead training and she did extremely well! She was even comfortable enough to slowly approach strangers and take treats out of their hands! Kitch is a calm girl anyway which helps, and takes things in her stride. Kitch gets on perfectly with every dog she is kennelled and socialised with! She shares her food, toys, and as you can see her beds with no problems at all.
At bedtime her and her kennel mates will all cwtch up in one big bed together! Kitch is such a sweetie, such a pretty girl, with big, kind, soulful eyes, who is adorably cute when she tries to be brave and when she wags her tail when she's pleased with how brave she's been!!! She has so much love to give and I can't wait for her forever family to find her and give her the life she so deserves. A life she hasn't ever been able to even imagine. I'd adopt her myself if I had space!

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
