If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

02-08-2018 Becky is an 8 week old cockapoo pup.  This sweet girl has come to us from a breeder as she is unable to walk.  We will assess her further as she is too overwhelmed at the moment to move around too much.  Although Becky is nervous we think she will come round quite quickly and she will need to attend puppy training classes and be spayed at 6 months old.  If you are choosing this puppy because you are looking for a hypoallergenic dog please bear in mind that we cannot guarantee that ANY dog will not cause an adverse reaction in allergy sufferers including those crossed with bichons or poodles. People can be allergic to fur, dander and saliva so please consider carefully before adopting as it could save the heartache of having to rehome a dog you and your family have grown to love and the dog will also not understand why it has lost its home.

07-08-18 UPDATE
Becky has seen a specialist who found she has no muscle in her shoulder and, in addition to this, she she has luxating patellas. The specialist has recommended Becky has physiotherapy and hydrotherapy  to strengthen her muscles and she will go back to see them in one month to be reassessed and have possible surgery.  It is unusual for puppy of this age to be given  physiotherapy and hydrotherapy  but in Becky's case there is no other option and we will do our utmost best to ensure she gets the best of care.

26-10-18 UPDATE

Our Becky (AKA BooBoo) is still looking for her forever home. There must be someone who can offer her a home!! She is now able to walk and run confidently but will need continuing treatment to manage the symptoms of her Hip Dysplasia, which we will help her new owners with.

The adoption fee for an adult dog (6 months and over) is £220 and for a puppy is £250, However if the dog has a passport you will be given this when you adopt and we ask for a further £20 to help us buy a passport for another dog. You will find a break down of what the adoption fee covers under our Adoption Procedures (see link below) If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
