20-01-19 Lost is called Dusty here and has been sadly been returnedin. He went straight to a  foster home and is house trained, loves his walks and going out in the car.  He is happy to be around other dogs and would like annother in his new home but we would consider homing his as an only dog in the right circumstances.  Lost was returned becaue he is worried around men and children.  These fears will be worked on in his foster home but he would be best in an adult home where the are no resident or visiting young children (under14).   Although Dusty is nervous of men he will go up to them and accept treats. He would love a home with a couple who are experienced with nervous ex-breeding dogs and willing to work to over come his fear.

01-03-19 UPDATE

Dusty has been back in foster for 2 months.  He is clean in the house, walks really well on a lead, loves his trips out in the car. Indoors he is a total cuddle bunny who gets on well with other dogs.
He can mouth ike a puppy would when he gets excited so would not be suitable where there are resident or visiting young children but he would be ok with older dog savvy ones.  From my dogs he is learning people (especially men) can be nice to him. He will need to be with a resident dog and experienced owners who can continue to work with him.

26-03-19 UPDATE
Known as Dusty in foster he has become a confident little dog, clean in the house, very affectionate and loves his evening snuggles. Best of all he adores being out and about walking or in the car. He would be perfect in an active adult only home or maybe with children over 14, he is a little overwhelmed by very young children. To the right home he could be considered as an only dog.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
