Cassie

06-05-24 Cassie is a purrrfect older lady who has come to us through no fault of her own as sadly her beloved owner had to move to an assisted living facility. She has gone straight into foster with a member of staff and is proving herself to be a wonderful little character who is so loving and cuddly. She would make a wonderful companion for an older person who is craving the company of an animal. She is one of the sweetest cats we have ever met, she loves to lay on her back in your arms like a baby and we think she is going to bond quickly to her new owner. Cassie enjoys being groomed and pampered and is happy to sit on your lap and will even meow and paw at you to ask for more fuss! She seems to love gentle, cat savvy children and could happily be homed with children as long as they were calm and able to give her space if she asks for it. We think she would be okay living with a gentle and calm, cat friendly dog as long as introductions were done slowly and carefully.

Cassie has been allowed outdoors in the past, but much prefers to be an indoor cat and so will be looking for a home where she can be kept safe inside and spend her days snoozing away on a soft bed or playing with kitty toys.. and of course getting treats on demand! Cassie is litter box trained and is going to make the most wonderful addition to her new family. We expect that she will be quite shy when she first moves to her new home, but it shouldn't take her long at all to come out of her shell and claim the entire home as her kingdom.
