Kyrie originally came to us from a breeder to find her forever home. She was very briefly adopted, but returned to her foster home after a few days through no fault of her own as her adopters felt they weren't the right home for her. She was very worried when she first arrived, but has settled in well to her foster home and is slowly starting to come out of her shell. Kyrie can now walk on a lead and loves to go to a secure field to run around with her canine friends. She is also adjusting well to home life and is now toilet trained, although may need some reminders in her new home.

Kyrie is a very sweet little girl who does enjoy a gentle fuss once she gets to know you. She will be looking for a calm and quiet home, where there is at least one other kind and confident resident dog, preferably another Cavalier, to be her friend and take her under their wing. She cannot be homed with cats but could live with gentle, dog savvy older children who would allow her to settle in at her own pace.

Kyrie has a Grade 1 heart murmur, she doesn't require any medication for this, but it's something her adopters and their vet will need to monitor. She also has low grade luxating patella in one of her hind legs, which isn't causing her any problems at the moment and could improve with gentle exercise. However should it require any treatment in the future, this would not be covered by insurance. Kyrie is such a little sweetheart, we can't wait to see her find her forever home.

  • Kyrie is a gentle sweetheart, around 11kg, who gets on well with all the other dogs in foster care. She arrived as a frightened soul but she has gradually relaxed as she has been allowed to settle in at her own speed.

Kyrie now loves to go into the secure fields with the other dogs and has done some lead walking. Her recall is good as long as she can follow the other dogs. She eats well, is clean indoors and is easy to love.

Kyrie is a gentle soul who enjoys a cuddle once she realises nothing bad is going to happen. Unfortunately, somewhere in her past, this little girl has been badly frightened: it’s very sad because she doesn't have a bad bone in her body.

This little one was briefly adopted, but was returned after a few days through no fault of her own. This experience upset dear Kyrie but she’s a lot better now and looking for her forever 5* home with other Cavs. She’s been through a lot, bless her, with a spay wound that took a while to heal and needed careful management and what may be a low grade luxating patella on her rear leg too. She’s been started on high grade Yumove by the fosterer and this, with gentle exercise and good food is starting to show an improvement, although it will need to be monitored by her adopters. Kyrie has also been seen by a local veterinary physiotherapist who’s suggested some exercises for her.

She can be homed with older dog savvy children but will chase a cat and needs a home with someone who will be there for her most of the time.

  • This pretty little lady is Kyrie and she has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. She is a very worried girl at the moment, who will shake like a life. She prefers to stick to the back of the kennel with her friends and isn't yet brave enough to come forward for a fuss. Kyrie will be looking for a clam and quiet home, with no children, where she can be allowed to settle in at her own pace. She will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog to be her friend and help her adjust to home life. She has never lived in a home before so this will be very new to her and her adopters will need to be kind and understanding as she settles in and learns all about home life as well as new skills like house training and how to walk on a lead. All Kyrie needs is some love and kindness and she will begin to blossom and come out of her shell.

Kyrie has a Grade 1 heart murmur, she doesn't require any medication but this is something that will need to be monitored by her adopters and their vet.
