  • Human family requirements

I need a calm and quiet, adult only home where I can settle in at my own pace.

  • Other pet requirements

I need a resident dog to help me settle in and I have never met cats.

  • House and garden requirements

I would like a secure garden to spend time in.

  • Out and about requirements

I’d enjoy one or two quiet walks a day and plenty of cuddle time.

  • Training needs

I have lived in a home before so know the basics.

  • Medical issues

I am neutered and ready to find my forever home!

This handsome little man is Fussy Pots and he’s come to us from a home with several other dogs after his previous owner sadly became unwell and could no longer care for him or his friends. He’s now with us at Many Tears and ready to start his next chapter in a loving forever home.

When Fussy Pots first arrived, he was a frightened little boy, shaking in the back of his crate. He’s still a bit unsure and won’t always come up to say hello just yet, but he does let you handle him and enjoys a gentle stroke once he starts to feel safe. It may take a little time, but we don’t think it’ll be long before he starts to come out of his shell as he’s already made great progress in foster.

Just a week into foster, and Fussy Pots has shown his softer side, he’s turning into a sweet little lap dog who absolutely adores human attention. He’s as cute as a button and has so much love to give. He travels well in the car and is just getting started with harness training, so he’ll need a bit of patience while he finds his confidence on walks.

Fussy Pots would thrive in a calm, quiet, adult-only home with adopters who have lots of time to spend with him. He’s lived in a home before, so he may know some of the basics, though he might need a little refresher on house training.

He really relies on the company of other dogs and will need at least one kind, gentle small dog in his new home to help him feel safe and settled. He currently lives with nine dogs, boys and girls, but he does like to guard laps from the boys, so a laid-back female companion would suit him best.

Once he trusts you, Fussy Pots will shower you with love and loyalty. He’s such a sweet little lad, and someone is going to be incredibly lucky to welcome him into their life.

Fussy Pot's Diary

  • Fussy Pot's, better known as Griff, arrived a scared little guy, shaking in the back of his crate. Fast forward a week, and wow, what a change! He’s now a sweet little lap dog who absolutely loves human attention.

He’s as cute as a button and would make a lovely friend for a gentle female dog. He currently lives with nine other dogs (both boys and girls), but he does like to guard laps from the boys, he’s a bit of a mummy’s boy like that!

Griff might take a little time to trust, but once he does, he’ll be your shadow. Someone is going to be very lucky to welcome this special little lad into their life.

He travels well in the car and is just starting to learn about harnesses, so he’s still finding his paws there.

Fussy Pots is a worried little boy at the moment who won't approach you to say hello, but does let you handle him and seems to enjoy a gentle stroke once he knows you. We don't think it will take him too long to come out of his shell in his new home. He will be looking for a calm and quiet home with adopters who have plenty of time to spend with him and would be best suited to an adult home. He relies on other dogs for company and so will need at least one other kind and gentle small dog to be his friend and help him to settle in. He has lived in a home before so may know the basics but may need some reminding with house training.

He is such a sweet boy and I don't think it will take him long to turn into your best friend.
