Heather has certainly become more confident since being in foster, and is very people orientated and not particularly concerned about the other dogs. She happily sleeps, eats, and walks alone. If Heather were to be homed as an only, she will need adopters who are around most of the time as she does not like to be left alone, and this can be quite distressful for her. Ideally, she would be ok as an only, in fact she may like it as all the attention! However, she could live with other kind resident dogs with the same mindset and gentle demeanor. This lady is growing in confidence daily and will absolutely flourish in a home.

Heather originally came to us from a breeder as a worried lady who was trying her hardest to be brave. She slowly began to come out of her shell to approach and see what all the hustle and bustle is about and slowly but surely her tail began to wag more and more, each day! Heather has now found herself in Foster where she is absolutely thriving, and we can only imagine she will continue to do the same in her forever home. Heather has built her confidence, and her foster believes she can now be an only dog as she isn't overly fussed with the other dogs in the home. She is becoming a true lap dog and just wants all of the attention and cuddles for herself. However, Heather could live with another kind resident dog that has the same gentle demeanor as she does and doesn't mind sharing the spotlight (and their adopters lap) with her. Heather is still working on house training and new skills which will need to be continued in her new home. She is an absolute star and is so ready for her forever home!
Heather has had 30 teeth removed at the time of her spay and will need a soft food diet going forwards.

20-02-25 Heather has come to us from a breeder ready to find her forever home. She is a sweet girl, who is quite worried to find herself here but is trying so hard to be brave! She isn't yet sure of human hands, but as long as you take things slowly and at her place then she is easy to handle. Heather will be looking for a calm and quiet adult home. She would benefit from adopters who have experienced with scared ex-breeding dogs and will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home to be her friend and companion. She has never lived in a home before so her adopters will need to be kind and understanding as she settles in and learns all about home life as well as skills like house training and how to walk on a lead. She is a pretty little girl and with time, love and kindness she will start to leave her past behind her and start to truly blossom!
She has a travel document.
