Mouse

20-03-25 Mouse has come to us from a breeder, ready to find her forever home. She is a worried girl who is overwhelmed to find herself here at the moment and is in need of lots of TLC. She will be looking for a calm and quiet, adult only home and would benefit from adopters with experience of scared ex-breeding dogs. Mouse relies on her kennel friends for comfort and so will be looking for a home where there was at least one other kind and confident resident dog to take her under their wing. She has never lived in a home before so will need kind and understanding adopters who will take things slowly and allow her to settle in at her own pace as she learns all about home life as well as new skills like house training and how to walk on a lead. With time, love and kindness she will start to come out of her shell and blossom into the sweet little girl she should have always had the chance to be. Mouse has some hormonal alopecia, this should hopefully start to grow back once she has been spayed, but we could not guarantee this. She also has a Grade 1 luxating patella, which may improve with gentle exercise as she builds muscle, but her adopter and their vet will need to monitor this in case she needs treatment in the future.
