  • Human family requirements

I need a calm and quiet, adult only home where I can settle in at my own pace.

  • Other pet requirements

I need a kind resident dog to take me under their wing. I have never met cats.

  • House and garden requirements

I’m frightened and will need a secure garden to learn about being outside.

  • Out and about requirements

I am too scared to go out for walks right now and will need a careful introduction.

  • Training needs

I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training.

  • Medical issues

I have had 6 teeth extracted and am being monitored for a slight limp.

20-02-25 Honer has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. She is a nervous girl who is very worried to find herself here at the moment and isn't yet brave enough to approach us and will keep her distance from us. However, once you do approach her, she does let you handle her easily although is extremely worried about this. Honer will be looking for a calm, quiet adult only home, where there is at least one other kind and confident resident dog who will be her friend and take her under their wing. She has never lived in a home before so her adopters will need to be kind and patient as she settles in and learns all about home life and picks up new skills like house training. She has also never worn a harness or walked on a lead before and so will need to practice this around the house until she gains enough confidence to venture outside. She is a very sweet girl and with time, love and kindness she will begin to truly blossom! She has a travel document.

Honer has had 6 teeth extracted at the time of her spay. She does occasionally walk with a slight limp and will lift her front right leg, she has been assessed by our vet. but we can find no cause for this and she isn't in pain, so this will need to be monitored and wouldn't be coverable by insurance.
