20-02-25 Charles is the most handsome boy who has come to us from a breeder ready to find his forever home. He is a little worried initially, but once he spends some time with you he soon grows in confidence and comes out of his shell! Since arriving with us, Charles has been assessed by our vets and undergone a few treatments. During his castration, a small lump was removed from his lower left eyelid. He was also diagnosed with mild epiphora, blepharospasm, and conjunctivitis of unknown cause, which has been treated with a week long course of eye drops. His eye is now being maintained with daily wipes. Additionally, a slight degree of entropion has been noted in his right eye, though its significance remains unclear. He LOVES to play fetch and is hoping his new family will play this lots with him. He will be looking for an active family who will take him on lots of adventures and keep him both mentally and physically stimulated. Charles is confident enough that he could be homed as an only dog in the right circumstances, but he could also live with other dogs. He has never lived in a home before so his adopters will need to be kind and understanding while he settles in and learns all about home life and new skills like house training. He doesn't yet walk on a lead but we don't think it will take him too long to master this. He is a wonderful boy who is going to make the most wonderful friends! Charles has a travel document.
