  • Human family requirements

I can live with dog-savvy teenagers who understand me and give me time to settle.

  • Other pet requirements

I need a resident dog to help me feel safe. I've never met cats so I'm unsure!

  • House and garden requirements

I need a secure garden to explore and get used to the outside world.

  • Out and about requirements

I am too scared to go out for walks right now and will need a careful introduction.

  • Training needs

I need to learn house training, lead walking, and other basics to be the best I can!

  • Medical issues

I’ve started my vaccinations and have already been spayed.

Sweet little Thelma has come to us from a breeder and is still adjusting to her new surroundings. Having never left the place she was born, everything feels a bit overwhelming for her right now. She finds comfort in the back of her kennel, staying close to her friends, but if you take the time to approach her gently, she will let you fuss over her and enjoy a cuddle.

Thelma is a shy and sensitive girl who leans on her kennel friends for reassurance, so she will need at least one confident resident dog in her new home to help her feel safe and secure. She would thrive in a quiet, adult-only home, though she could potentially live with calm, dog-savvy teenagers (15+) who understand she needs patience and time to settle.

She is still learning about the world and will need a helping paw to master home life, including toilet training, lead walking, and getting used to everyday sounds like the TV and vacuum cleaner. With love, patience, and a gentle approach, Thelma will blossom into a wonderful companion and a loyal friend.
