Twist is a handsome little fella who came to us from a breeder, ready to start his new life. Since his arrival he has moved to a foster home where he has settled beautifully into home life. He’s a quiet, affectionate boy who loves curling up on the sofa for cuddles. He has taken a special liking to the female dachshunds in his foster home, often seeking them out for companionship. Twist will need a home where there is another kind, female dog (preferably another dachshund) to be his friend and help him to settle in. He’s looking for a calm, loving environment where he can continue to grow in confidence, enjoy plenty of snuggles, and finally experience the love and security he deserves. Twist had never lived in a home before moving to foster, so his adopters will need to be kind and understanding while he learns new skills like house training as well as how to walk on a lead. When Twist arrived with us, he has some skin issues and a swollen paw, but is doing really well. He also had four teeth extracted at the time of his neuter.
