Twist is a handsome little fella who came to us from a breeder, ready to start his new life. Since his arrival he has moved to a foster home where he has settled beautifully into home life. He’s a quiet, affectionate boy who loves curling up on the sofa for cuddles. He has taken a special liking to the female dachshunds in his foster home, often seeking them out for companionship. Twist will need a home where there is another kind, female dog (preferably another dachshund) to be his friend and help him to settle in. He’s looking for a calm, loving environment where he can continue to grow in confidence, enjoy plenty of snuggles, and finally experience the love and security he deserves. Twist had never lived in a home before moving to foster, so his adopters will need to be kind and understanding while he learns new skills like house training as well as how to walk on a lead. When Twist arrived with us, he has some skin issues and a swollen paw, but is doing really well. He also had four teeth extracted at the time of his neuter. If you’re ready to give Twist the home he’s been waiting for, he’s ready to begin his journey with you.
