Jett is a working collie who was brought to us from a farm as her owners did not have enough time for her. She is a very sweet girl who is in search of a home that can offer her patience and compassion. Jett hasn't quite come out of her shell just yet, and we aren't sure if she has ever really had the chance to. As a Collie you would think that she would be hyper and overly rambunctious. Instead, she is shy, mild mannered and still getting used to being fussed over. Jett will need another kind and confident resident dog in the home that can help in encouraging Jett to come out of her shell and become the playful Collie she deserves to be. But don't let this gentle and shy demeanor fool you, this girl is still seeking adventures and long quiet walks where her both her body and brain can be stimulated. Once she has mastered harness training, we think this will help her exuberate more confidence and she can learn all about the big world. Jett was kept in an outdoor shed so she may need to be taught other skills like house training as she settles into her new home. Luckily for Jett's future adopters, once she knows you and is comfortable, she will approach you for a fuss and is so obviously longing to build that special bond. Jett is needing her adopter to be understanding and compassionate as she continues to open her heart and flourish.
