Hamish

25-02-25 Hamish came to us originally from a breeder, and was adopted for a short amount of time until he was sadly returned to us as he was finding the 3 children in his new home a bit much. He would became very stressed when they were around and would bark. Hamish went straight to a foster home and having had him in foster for a few days here is what we have learnt: Hamish is a happy chappy around his doggy friends and gets on very well with all dogs of all sizes. He is especially playful and it would be fantastic to find a home with another friend he can have a bundle with! He is very unsure around people though and takes a while to get to know you. I can now give him strokes which he loves but he still isn't sure about my husband or any visitors that come to the house (although he is happy to take a treat from anyone!). Hamish will need a calm, adult only home and kind adopters that will work with him to raise his confidence. He is very clever and springy so we think he would really do well at agility and he loves going on really long walks. His recall in a secure field is non existent though so this will need some training! He is such a stunning boy, we really hope that he will find his furever home very soon.
