Don't let River's age fool you, she is an active girl who loves going on walks and new adventures! River came to us from a breeder understandably confused, but remained positive and has been the friendliest and happiest lady on her journeys. River has been in foster home where she was living with five other dogs, going on daily walks to the coffee shop or around town, and cuddles up on the sofa for a nap. It is obvious River has not had much to call her own in her life and really forms a bond with her two-legged companions worried that she may be left again. River will need a home where her adopters are home most of the time as she can have some separation anxiety out of fear of the unknown, but with encouragement and time we are hopeful this can be managed. River had 12 teeth extracted at the time of her spay, and may need further extractions in the future. But, this does not stop this treat and food loving girl! River will need at least one canine companion that she can look to as she settles into her new home and adopters that can offer her love, time and patience. River deserves to spend out her last years knowing that she is loved and appreciated. Could you offer this to her?

River is currently back at the rescue centre as she needs to visit the vet as she has had some blood in her urine.
