  • Human family requirements

I need an experienced adult-only home with no visiting kids to keep me stress-free.

  • Other pet requirements

I need a resident dog to help me feel safe. I've never met cats so I'm unsure!

  • House and garden requirements

I’m frightened and will need a secure garden to learn about being outside.

  • Out and about requirements

I'm learning to enjoy the outside world slowly, but I'll need reassurance on my walks

  • Training needs

I'm learning to walk on lead at Many Tears but I will need help with housetraining.

  • Medical issues

I’m fully vaccinated and neutered, I have had several teeth removed.

Chipolata, just like a lot of us, prides himself in being a work in progress and is making daily growth in his confidence levels, and it is so exciting to watch the milestones he has accomplished! When Chipolata first came to a us from a breeder he was a fearful little guy who had the potential to make the wrong decision if he felt he was backed into a corner and being pushed too hard too fast. At first, he thought being handled or picked up was a hard no, blanket lifts only! But now, with a little patience and at a slow pace he is realizing that maybe humans aren't so bad after all. Chipolata has navigated his way out of the kennels and into a foster home where he is learning skills that will help set him up for success in his new home. He loves to visit secure dog fields where he can frolic and trot around in grass as tall as he is, his lead walking is coming along well but he will need to gain more confidence with this, and he is thoroughly enjoying the warmth and comforts of home life. It is so obvious that Chipolata is wanting love and affection and the more confidence he gains, the more he opens his heart to us humans. He will need another kind and welcoming dog in his new home and empathetic adopters who will enjoy helping him grow and learn to fully enjoy his precious life.
