Mavie

Meet Mavie – A Loyal, Loving Companion Looking for Her Forever Home
Mavie is a sweet and affectionate girl who first found a loving home through us 10 years ago. Sadly, through no fault of her own, she now needs to find a new family to cherish her golden years. She is slightly larger than a standard Jack Russell Terrier but smaller than a Beagle—just the perfect size for cuddles!
Despite her age, Mavie is still spritely and enjoys playing in the garden, especially her favorite "Piggy-in-the-Middle" ball game. When she's had her fill of fun, she knows when to take a break and relax. In the house, she is incredibly obedient, responding well to simple commands, and is happiest when snuggled up on a warm lap, soaking up all the love she can get.
Mavie absolutely adores people and is a fantastic companion. However, after a past traumatic experience, she is very nervous around other dogs and would thrive in a home where she is the only pet, with no visiting dogs. She is walked on a lead to keep her safe and comfortable, and her adopters will need to be mindful of her reactivity on walks.
She has had a couple of health concerns in the past, including a successful surgery to remove a cancerous growth in 2019 and a benign lump removed from her eyelid in 2024. Neither of these has slowed her down, and she continues to enjoy life to the fullest.
Mavie is searching for a loving home where she will be showered with affection, have plenty of company, and be the center of someone's world. In return, she promises to be a devoted, loving, and cuddly best friend.
Could you be the one to give Mavie the happy ending she deserves?
