Sometimes when a dog comes to us, their obvious fears and worries are so heartbreaking it's hard to imagine what they may have gone through to mistrust us humans so much. Angel is one of those dogs. A dog who would let out a shriek when you approached her in assumption that something bad may happen, a dog who would run and hide away when a human would merely approach to feed or check on her. Fast forward only a few months, and Angel has graduated from the kennels and has found herself in a foster home learning all about human kindness and collecting skills that will help prepare her for her forever home. Although, Angel is still very touch shy and needs relationships to be built at a slow pace, her own pace, she is growing in confidence daily. Angel enjoys a run (or a sprint) around the a secure dog field and is even practicing her toileting skills in the garden, which she is mastering with a few incidents. When its bedtime, you can find Angel cuddled up next to her four-legged friends in the family bed tucked away into a fluffy duvet. At meal time, she is the first one in line and enjoys her treats and eats. A lady who loves snacks, naps, and a sunny day in the garden? She is basically living the dream, and would love to live that dream out in her own home. Angel is needing someone to give her time and patience. And what do you get in return? An appreciative and inquisitive companion that will always try her hardest to be courageous.
