Nuzzle, a girl full of deep rooted fears and worries that we will never understand. Although she tries to be brave and conquer new tasks, this is still very troubling for her and it is absolutely heart breaking to see. Nuzzle came to us from a breeder and originally she was completely shut down, hiding away from the world in the corner of the kennel just hoping that nobody would notice her. She wouldn't accept a treat, no matter how tasty it may be, and didn't understand that humans may actually be kind and gentle. Fast forward only a few months, and that shut down and scared little lady has progressed into a foster home and has flourished into a brave and sprightly girl who still carries some worries but is trying so hard to be courageous. Nuzzle is a woman of routines and enjoys being organized and if things suddenly become disorganized, that can send Nuzzle into a bit of a panic and it becomes hard for her to settle down. Thankfully, Nuzzle is in a foster where she can learn all of the skills that will better prepare her for her forever home, and in turn we get to learn more about Nuzzles silly and affectionate personality. And all though there may only be glimpses of this, it is is reassuring to know that she is beginning to open up to us humans. Nuzzle will need another resident dog in the home as they are more than just a furry friend to her, other kind dogs are her safety blanket, and everyone deserves to feel safe and comfortable.
