  • Human family requirements

I need an adult-only home where I can feel safe, loved and settle into my new home.

  • Other pet requirements

I need a resident dog to help me feel safe. I've never met cats so I'm unsure!

  • House and garden requirements

I’m active but still nervous, a big secure garden to do my zoomies would be perfect.

  • Out and about requirements

I love sniffy walks, I need reassurance at first but I'm getting better everyday.

  • Training needs

I'm unsure of the harness at first but I'm working on it beside my house training.

  • Medical issues

I'm losing some weight and feeling very pretty and confident about it!

The Foggy that came into the rescue, is absolutely nothing compared to the Foggy that is in foster now. When Foggy first came to us from a breeder, she was very unsure of us humans and was having a hard time settling in and thriving. After some time in the kennels and with some much need confidence growth, however small, she has graduated into foster where she is learning about self-assurance and gaining skills that will help set her up for success in her forever home. Now, Foggy is still unsure of his humans and is slowly growing, but she is finally letting her playful side shine and loves to have a run around the garden. It is always so refreshing to see a once shut down dog finally begin to open their hearts, and we are looking forward to watching Foggy emerge into the happy dog she is destined to be. Foggy has also been working on her walking skills, and doesn't mind having a harness put on but is still unsure of walks when they first begin but, once she starts she doesn't want to stop! Foggy loves to curl up on the sofa with the other resident dogs where she knows she is safe, and take a snooze. Foggy will need at least one kind resident dog that she can look to for support as she settles into her new home and with adopters that are willing to provide daily encouragement towards her confidence growth. She was a bit overweight when she first came to us, but on a continues diet she has lost some weight which has definitely boosted her spirits and it shows. Foggy would suit best in a home with a garden she can sniff around in and a rural area where she can go on quiet and calm walks as she is not accustomed to the hustle-and-bustle of busy streets and towns.
