    I need a quiet, child-free home where I won’t be overwhelmed.

JOSIE WOULD LIKE A HOME WITH MILLIE

Sweet and Shy Dachshund Sisters, Millie and Josie, Seek a Patient and Loving Home

Millie and Josie are two sweet and affectionate Dachshund sisters who are deeply bonded and have come a long way since their arrival at Many Tears. Initially coming from their breeder and then finding a home, they were sadly returned after a brief adoption but have since thrived in foster care. They now walk on the lead, are house trained (with occasional slip-ups), and enjoy traveling in the car. These gentle girls love having the freedom to run in a secure field but always stay close to their human for safety and comfort.

Although they are making steady progress, both Millie and Josie still carry the emotional scars of their past, which can sometimes make them nervous or distrustful of new situations and people. They need a calm, patient, and understanding adopter who can provide a stable and secure environment, as they find busy homes and young children too overwhelming. A quiet, relaxed household with just one gentle and confident person would be ideal. They thrive on the comfort of a familiar routine and the companionship of kind dogs, and they absolutely adore cuddling with each other and other dogs.

Millie and Josie are looking for a loving home where they can continue to blossom. They will do best with a resident dog or dogs, as they find comfort in the company of other canines. They need a family that will offer them the time, patience, and empathy they deserve to help them adjust to life in a new home. These precious girls are ready to share their love with someone who understands their needs and can give them the gentle care they need to flourish.
