Nat – A Gentle Soul Learning to Trust

Nat is a delicate little lady who came from her breeder in search of a loving home. She is naturally inquisitive and full of curiosity, but she can be easily startled, especially when handled too quickly. While she adores her kennel friends and enjoys playing with other dogs, she is still learning to trust humans and will need a kind and patient adopter to help her adjust to home life at her own pace.

Since arriving, Nat has made encouraging progress in overcoming her fear of handling. While she was initially very nervous, her kennel mum has found that with a gentle approach, she stays still and tolerates handling well. She has even been taken into the grooming room for a brush and trim!

She loves food, and this has been the key to earning her trust. She now happily approaches her kennel mum for treats and even gives little kisses and sniffs.

Nat still has a long way to go before she fully resembles a 'normal' dog. Everything in a home will be new and overwhelming at first, so she needs someone who understands that progress will take time. She will need to learn everything from scratch, including how to walk on a lead and be comfortable in a home environment.

With the right support and patience, Nat has the potential to blossom into a happy, loving companion. She just needs someone to believe in her and give her the chance she deserves.
