Hasty is a very special girl that deserves a home that is equally as special as she is. It is obvious that Hasty has not been exposed to much in life, including gentle and kind human hands. When Hasty first came to us she would urinate in fear of being picked up and would go into instant defense mode. She would make grumbling noises when you would enter her space and would do anything to avoid human contact. Since being in foster, Hasty has opened her heart up to the idea of being close to us humans, and will even hop up on the couch close to her foster dad and sit calmly in his presence. Hasty would prefer for relationships to be naturally created overtime and without a bond being forced on her. Hasty is still unsure of us humans but has come so far in just the short amount of time she has been with us. Hasty is currently in foster where she is continuously learning skills that will help set her up for success in her new home. However, her new adopters will need to be understanding that Hasty will need time and patience, and that she may never be a lap dog but the bond she makes with you will be one that cannot be broken. Hasty is looking for that special someone to open her heart completely to and is so desperate to find out about love and companionship. She will need a kind resident dog in the home to look at as she learns about her new surroundings and to continue to learn from. She will also need an experienced adult only home that can encourage her daily and show her what trust and love are.
