So the other day my foster mommy and daddy took me to this big secure field with there other doggys to see if they could get me walking on a lead as I have been having my harness on walking about with it to get used to it on. Unfortunately I'm still not keen on a lead even though it was a very long one and I didn't have to walk close to them I still didn't like it but the thing I loved was there was a big dirty puddle in the field so guess what I did? Oh yes I did I jumped in a rolled around which I thought was so much fun. Foster mommy and daddy gave me a nice bath when we got home and told me not to worry we will take lead training at my speed.
Glow Worm

Gentle Glow Worm Is Looking for a Patient Heart
Glow Worm is a 2-year-old male Bichon Frise who has come to us from a breeder and is now learning about life in a loving foster home. Before arriving in foster care, he had never lived in a home, so the world is still a very big and sometimes scary place for this sweet, sensitive boy.
Glow Worm is still quite hand-shy and finds human interaction a bit overwhelming at times, especially when it comes to being picked up or handled. That said, he is now allowing gentle handling when needed and has even had a few baths and grooms without too much worry. His foster family is taking things slowly and kindly, and he’s responding with quiet bravery in his own time.
While he is cautious with people, Glow Worm truly lights up when he’s with other dogs. He absolutely thrives in their company, often playing, snuggling, and following their lead. For this reason, he must be rehomed with a kind and confident resident dog who can help him continue learning and give him the reassurance he needs.
In his foster home, Glow Worm has started to play with toys, especially nylabones, and he's discovered a real love of rolling in puddles during outdoor adventures! His fosterers recently took him to a secure field to practice wearing a lead, and although he wasn’t ready to walk on it yet, he had a wonderful time splashing about and just being a dog. He’s not ready for walks just yet, and house training is still ongoing, but his foster family is supporting him gently every step of the way.
Glow Worm is also quite the character at mealtimes—he’s vocal when food is being prepared and isn’t shy about letting you know he’s ready for a treat!
Because of his background and fears, Glow Worm is looking for an experienced, adult-only home with calm, patient adopters who understand that he will need time, reassurance, and a gentle routine to help him grow in confidence. He will also need regular grooming to keep his coat comfortable and healthy.
Glow Worm has his transport document from Ireland and is ready to find a forever home that will celebrate his small victories, offer him kindness every day, and love him just as he is. In the right home, this beautiful boy has so much potential to shine.

So little Glow Worm has been with us for a while now and although he's still a scared little boy when it comes to us humans he's totally different with his doggy friends. He has started playing with his foster friends and also toys. he loves his food and is quite vocal at feeding times and treat time. Unfortunately being scared like he is his lead training is going slowly and his house training is still an ongoing issue. He will allow you to handle him and we've bathed and groomed him a few times without to much trouble. Glow Worm is a lovely little lad who's looking for someone who will understand his needs and understand that he'll take time to become the dog we know he can be.

Glow worm is a still quite a handshy little lad but does allow you to pick him up and handle him when needed. His house training is still ongoing and he's found his voice when it comes to food or treat time! Glow worm has started to show an interest in playing with toys and some of our other dogs as well as starting to chew on his nylon bones. Glow worm is a lovely little lad who is looking for someone who will understand his needs and allow him to come on at his own pace. He would also need resident dog to help him learn and progress also any potential adopters will need to be aware of his grooming needs. He is really is a handsome boy.

Glow Worm is a very worried little boy who has come to us from a breeder to find his forever home. Glow Worm is feeling very overwhelmed at the moment and is not used to being handled so does panic if you try to pick him up and we are needing to use a towel at the moment to help us to lift him. He needs some practice with this along with gentle, kind and encouraging words and body language to help him to relax. Due to his fears he is looking for an experienced adopter who has had scared dogs before and an adult only home. Glow Worm gets on well with all other dogs here and he will need a home with a kind resident dog that he can copy around the house and snuggle up to. He has never lived in a home before so will need understanding adopters that can help him learn new skills such as housetraining and learning to walk on a harness/lead when he is ready. He will need regular trips to the groomers to ensure his coat is comfortable and manageable. He is an absolute gem who will thrive in a loving home.
