So yesterday was a special day as I went out with my foster mommy & daddy and little foster brother (for a little doggy support) to Kenilworth castle it was a lovely day with lots of new and very old smells to sniff I was really good and I even lead my foster mom & dad round the ruins and up the stairs in the castle. I meet with a lot of doggy friends and was really good with them I wasn't to keen on meetings there mommy's and daddy's but when my foster dad picked me up I was comfortable enough to let them stroke me and have a little fuss. I really am not keen on the little children running around and did give a little growl to tell them not to come by me but my foster mommy and daddy already told them not to come to close as I not that happy about little ones by me. as I'd been such a brilliant little girl we topped off the with a special doggy ice-cream.

Meet Jenny – A Sweet Girl Looking for a Second Chance
Jenny has had a tough journey and was sadly returned to Many Tears when she became too overwhelmed in her previous home. When cornered, she panicked and bit out of fear, but since then, she has been in an experienced foster home where she has made great progress.
At first, Jenny was too scared to be touched, but she has since formed a strong bond with her foster mum. She now greets her happily, enjoys fuss, and even jumps on the sofa for cuddles. While she prefers women, she has started to accept gentle attention from men, particularly outside the home. She just needs time, patience, and a quiet, understanding home to help her flourish.
Jenny’s Ideal Home:
- Experienced adopter – someone familiar with nervous rescue dogs
- Adult-only home – no children or visiting children, as she is easily overwhelmed
- Preferably a female main caregiver – she bonds more easily with women
- At least one confident resident dog – she enjoys canine company
- Someone home most of the time – she thrives on companionship
- A patient adopter – willing to continue her training, including lead walking
- No cats – she loves to chase them!
Jenny has come such a long way and just needs someone who will continue to support her at her own pace. She’s now walking on a lead, is almost fully house-trained, and loves car rides. If you can give this special girl the loving, understanding home she needs, she will reward you with so much love in return. Could you be the one for Jenny?

Jenny's Diary

Jenny has been with us a while now and she's really starting to come into her own. Once she creates a bond with you she will give cuddles and kisses, and although she would be better suited to a home where the female is the main carer she has started to let me give her the odd little fuss inside the house. Outside the house she's a totally different dog, she will let me pick her up fuss her and she even gives me kisses.
Jenny loves being around you and she also loves the car - she's such an adorable dog. She walks on a lead and her house training is 99% there with just the odd little accident. Jenny loves her food and will take treats from your hand. She gets on well with all her doggy brothers and sisters, but we wouldn't recommend being homed with cats as she does like to chase them.
Ideally we would like her to have a home where someone is there most the time, would also be best without children or visiting children, and with at least one other furry friend to help her continue to live her best life -
Jenny has been returned from her adopters as sadly she was just too worried for them to be able to comfortably handle her and Jenny panicked when cornered and bit her owners hand. The adopters made the very difficult decision to return her to the rescue and she has now been in an experienced foster home for a while for careful assessment. She is looking for an experienced adopter who is able to handle a very scared. She is looking for an adult only home where there are no visiting children as she would find these too much to handle. Jenny needs a second chance at being loved and her fosterer's update is below:
Jenny has been in foster with us now for a couple of weeks and for the first week or so she wouldn't let us touch her and now it's clear to see she's is a lady's dog as she now runs to greet my wife and is happy to have fuss and also jump on the sofa by her. so ideally she'd like a women only home or at least a home where her main caregiver is female. her house training is 100% and she gets on well with all the other dogs and cats here. she's doesn't walk on a lead yet but we'll be working on this whilst she's in foster. potential adopters will have to be aware of the grooming costs of adopting this type of breed. Jenny just needs some time and patience from someone who can give her the best life.
