Queenie is a gentle and sensitive soul who has been patiently waiting for her forever home. She arrived from a breeder, initially overwhelmed and wary, but has slowly blossomed into a loving and affectionate dog. She is a total sweetheart who craves human affection and enjoys walks, and cosying up for a snooze. Life in a busy rescue is stressful for Queenie, and she longs for a peaceful home where she can feel safe. She would prefer to be homed as the only dog, though she does enjoy occasional playdates. She has met cats around the rescue and hasn't shown any interested in them, but she does seem a little scared of them when they make sudden movements. Loud noises and sudden movements can startle her, so she would thrive in a quiet, adult-only home. She has never lived in a home before so will need to learn all about home life and new skills like house training. Queenie doesn’t ask for much - just kindness, patience, and a soft bed to relax in. She’s a truly special girl who deserves a loving family to cherish her.
