Maggie

Maggie originally came to us from a breeder and was adopted for a few months but began to show signs of some behavioral issues. Since her return to us, we have had the opportunity to learn more about Maggie's personality and requirements. Maggie would love to be homed as an only dog, as she can be quite dominant around other dogs and we feel that she would rather be a one man band than a part of a whole quartet. Maggie is kennel clean, enjoys her long and quiet walks down country lanes and absolutely loves her squeezy cheese more than anything else. Maggie doesn't mind finding her own entertainment through a run around the yard or with toys. However, sometimes she gets a bit too excited and the toy gets added to a list of Maggie's toy victims. But who are we to deny her of own amusement! Maggie will need adopters who are around most of the time and understand that she will need time to begin to trust them as well as a home without constant visitors as Maggie is not comfortable around new people. Maggie will need her adopters to be around the majority of the time so she is not left alone and would enjoy walks where she could socialize with other dogs. Maggie will make a great companion to a couple who is willing work with her and provide her love in the form of a consistent routine and patience.
