Gala is a wonderful girl who has come leaps and bounds in regards to her confidence and trusting humans. Gala originally came to us from a breeder as a very scared and shut down dog. She was then briefly adopted but was returned to us through no fault of her own, as her previous adopters had a change in circumstance. Gala has now found her way into a foster home and is continuously learning about confidence and trust. Originally, Gala would not approach for a fuss and would run away as she was scared of being handled. Now, if you hold your hand out gently, she will run up for a kiss on the hand and run away to do it all again; with a happy tail wag! Due to her deep rooted fears and flighty nature, Gala will need a kind resident dog to look to for a playmate and a confidence boost as well as a secure garden that she cannot escape to ensure her safety incase she gets frightened. Gala would also love a secure dog park close by where she can get all of her energy out and enjoy a sun bath to keep that golden glow looking fresh! Gala may require time to open up to her new adopters, but as long as you are able to provide time and patience the trust can only grow.
