22-04-25 A Sparkling Soul Ready for Her Next Adventure
Tilly is a bright and beautiful one-year-old crossbreed, said to be a Basset Hound cross Vizsla, although she has a unique look all of her own. She has come to us from a breeder and is now ready to begin the next exciting chapter of her life. Tilly is a wonderfully confident young lady with a zest for life, and she is on the lookout for a loving, active home where she can share in plenty of fun adventures.
Tilly is a sociable soul who generally gets along well with other dogs, especially out in the garden or during her walks. However, we have noticed that she can become reactive around other dogs in certain close-contact situations, such as when food, treats, or attention are involved. Her reactions can be very quick, so her adopters will need to be mindful of this and help her to feel secure and supported. For this reason, we feel Tilly would be happiest as the only dog in her new home, where she can soak up all the love and focus she craves without having to share.
Tilly is very people-focused and could live in a home with dog savvy teenagers. She already walks beautifully on a lead, thoroughly enjoys her time exploring the play yard, and has shown that she is clean indoors. Although confident when out and about, Tilly has never lived in a home before, so her adopters will need to be patient as she learns about home life. Things like house training, settling into a daily routine, and understanding indoor manners will all be new to her, but with gentle guidance and lots of encouragement, she will soon find her paws.
A secure garden would be a real treat for Tilly, giving her the chance to potter, sniff, and relax between her bigger adventures. She also experienced travel sickness on a longer journey, so any future car trips may need to be built up gradually with patience and support.
Tilly is a sweet-natured, affectionate girl who has so much love to give. She will make a loyal and joyful companion to an active family who can offer her the time, understanding, and fun she so deserves. Tilly truly is a sparkling soul who will blossom in the right home.
