22-04-25 Thor is a handsome boy who has come to us from a breeder, but was raised in a home-style environment. He was adopted for a short time, but unfortunately displayed some behaviours in the home that we were previously unaware of. Out of fear, he made some uncharacteristic decisions and was sadly returned to us.

Thor is now looking for his true forever home – one that offers a calm, quiet environment with minimal visitors, as he can become overwhelmed and reactive when he feels uncomfortable or backed into a corner.

That said, please don’t let this put you off considering this sweet boy. Thor is a true cuddle bug who absolutely loves to snuggle on your lap and receive gentle fuss and he’d happily stay there all day if he could! He’s a loving and affectionate lad once he feels safe.

Thor enjoys going on walks and is currently working on his harness training. He doesn’t mind walking alongside fellow four-legged friends and could live as either an only dog, he’s certainly confident enough, or with a kind, larger female dog who can hold her own. That said, we suspect Thor might prefer to soak up all the attention for himself!

He will need an adult-only home with limited visitors as well as no visiting children and would appreciate an understanding and calm home as he settles in. But once he knows you, Thor is incredibly loyal and loving. We’re also told he is house trained and has excellent recall to his name.

Thor does have some dermatitis, which our vets are treating, but it doesn’t stop him from being the affectionate, snuggly little love bug he truly is.
