My adopter will need to agree to have me spayed when I'm old enough.

19-04-25 Sophie is a beautiful older puppy who has come to us from a breeder after being unsold. Life so far has been very limited for Sophie.. she hasn’t seen much of the world and hasn’t been socialised, so it’s no surprise that she’s feeling completely overwhelmed and frightened to find herself here. At the moment, Sophie will run away from people and isn’t ready to be handled. Once in your arms she does settle, she is just so worried of us initially.

Sophie will be looking for a calm and quiet, adult only home and will need a kind adopter who can offer her time, patience, and gentle love while she learns to trust. She will need at least one kind and confident resident dog in her new home to help her settle in and comfort her.

Sophie has never lived in a home before so her adopters will need to be patient and understanding as she settles in and learns all about home life as well as new skills like house training. She will also need to learn all about walking on a lead and harness but will find this overwhelming at first and will need to practice first around the home and garden.

Sophie will need to attend puppy socialisation classes and her adopters will need to agree to have her spayed at the appropriate age as part of her adoption contract. She has a travel document.

This sweet girl has a long road ahead of her, but with the right home full of patience and understanding, we know she has the potential to blossom into a wonderful companion.
