18-04-25 Millie is a 11 year old Collie who has come to us from a farm, where she has spent her entire life working hard. Now that she’s no longer able to keep up, she has sadly been handed in to us, discarded after years of loyalty. Understandably, Millie is a little confused by all the changes, but what she wants more than anything now is a warm bed, gentle hands and someone to love her.

Millie is a sweet girl with a kind heart. She gets along with other dogs, but we feel she would prefer a quiet life as the only dog in her new home, where she can finally relax and enjoy her retirement in peace. That said, we would consider homing her with a calm and gentle dog who will give her space and not overwhelm her.

Millie can walk on a lead and will enjoy a slow, gentle potter around the garden or on a quiet walk, but most of all, she just wants somewhere soft to curl up and feel safe. As she has never lived in a home before, she will need a patient and understanding adopter to help her learn about house training and home life.

Millie has worked hard her whole life, now it’s her turn to be cared for. If you can offer this lovely girl the peaceful retirement she so deserves, she will repay you with companionship and love.

Millie has cataracts in both eyes, and has had two teeth extracted at the time of her spay but she doesn't let this slow her down.
