18-04-25 Petal is a darling little girl who has come to us from a breeder. She is a sweet and sensitive soul who, with a little time and lots of TLC, looks like she will truly blossom in the right home. At the moment, Petal is feeling quite frightened by all the changes in her life. She finds comfort and reassurance in her kennel friends, and because of this, she will need at least one kind and confident resident dog in her forever home. A canine companion will be essential to help guide her, offer support, and show her that the world doesn’t have to be so scary.

Petal can become stressed when being handled, so a calm, quiet home will be best to help her feel safe as she starts to settle. She has never lived in a home before, so everyday sights, sounds, and routines will all be completely new to her. She will need gentle guidance with house training, and walking on a lead may be far too overwhelming at first. For now, she’ll benefit from a secure garden where she can explore, sniff, and begin to build confidence at her own pace.

Petal has come to us with a touch of hormonal alopecia on her back legs that is being monitored.
