  • Human family requirements

I’d be happy with dog-savvy children who respect my space.

  • Other pet requirements

I need a doggy friend in my new home. I've never met cats so I'm unsure!

  • House and garden requirements

I’m still shy, so I will need a secure garden while I get used to my new home.

  • Out and about requirements

Once I have mastered lead training, I would love to go on quiet adventures.

  • Training needs

I’m learning to walk on the lead but still need to master housetraining.

  • Medical issues

I have previously had puppy strangles which has caused scarring around my mouth.

15-04-25 Buttercup has come to us from a breeder and is a spritely and inquisitive soul who, although a little shy to begin with, quickly lets her curiosity take over. Once she’s decided you’re safe, she’ll quietly come over for a fuss and just wants to know what you’re all about. Buttercup is easy to handle and has such a lovely, gentle way about her. She hasn’t lived in a home before, so she’ll need patient adopters who can help her learn all about house training and the routine of home life. She’s currently learning to walk on a lead, and with time and reassurance, she’ll gain confidence and continue to grow.

Buttercup will need a kind and confident resident dog in the home to help guide her as she settles in. She could live with kind, dog savvy children who will respect her space and understand she may need time to adjust. Buttercup may have had puppy strangles when she was younger, which has left some scarring and darker skin around her mouth and nose, but she seems to be in good health now and is ready for her fresh start.

Buttercup is a very special little lady with so much love to give. She just needs a calm, understanding home where she can continue her journey and discover how wonderful life can be.
