25-04-18 Chitzibie is a male beagle cross who has lived in a back yard in Bucharest with his friend his whole life with nothing bar dinner to look forward too. They are both disabled and no one wanted to help them but then their luck changed and a wonderful lady saved them. Chitzibie's around 7 years old and when he was first picked up was paralysed. He had x-rays which didn't reveal anything so neurological treatment was started and plans for an MRI scan if he didn't respond. However he responded very well and started walking, so it's assumed he was probably hit in the head and had a haematoma. He has made a great recovery and now just walks a little funny.  He can be fearful and may bite as a result of this so he needs someone who will give him time to overcome his fears and earn his trust as once he knows you he is fine.  The way to Chitsibie's heart is through chicken which he loves!  However because of his fear we would need someone to come forward who has experience with such a dog, a home without children is a must. He will come for a fuss at the kennel door but just lays in bed when you go in to see him. Time and patience is needed for this handsome man.  Chitzibe has a passport

Lovely Chitzibie from Romanian has a disabled leg but this doesn’t stop him from enjoying his walks.  His friend Brasov was adopted today so he’s a bit sad, so we’re hoping that somebody will give him a forever home soon.  He doesn’t need long walks, is a lovely boy who loves cuddles and likes to play with toys. Please somebody give this lovely boy the chance he deserves.

14-05-18 UPDATE
I am called Charlie in my foster home and this is me exploring my new garden . I love the garden and even though I have made some doggy friends here I prefer humans. My back legs are wobbly but that doesn’t stop me running about the garden. I can walk on a lead too.
I would suit someone who is at home all day and would like me for company. I really am a super old chap that loves a sleep in the afternoon. I can’t jump up on sofas or anything else as both my back legs are damaged. I walk funny but I still get about. Tiled floors and laminate are very slippery for me but with a rug put on them I manage fine.
I have had a horrible life in the past and am so grateful for anything and everything. My foster Mummy has bought me a nice dog bed with super soft blankets and I love it!
I have two meals a day which I also love. There are lots of dog toys here which I can be a bit possessive of so a home with young resident or visiting children is a no no. You see I have never had anything nice in my last life so I want to keep all the nice things I am given for myself. If you are looking for an only dog and you don’t mind my wobbly legs then I am here waiting for you. I am 7 and I have never had a home of my own so that’s my goal to find one. You must be home most of the day and have a garden for me to potter about in. I would prefer to be your only dog as then all the strokes, kisses and cuddles will be for me only. I sleep all night and am not much trouble at all. Won’t you take a chance on me ?
Licks Charlie x

Although CHITZIBIE is by donation rather than the full adoption fee, we ask for a minimum donation of £100 to help cover the costs that have been incurred. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
